[It's been a long, tiring day - especially for someone so worn out physically from healing Undine earlier. Going through the investigation, hiding evidence, sitting through another meeting with the now demoralized Reapers on his team -

By the time they meet up again, it's late at night, and Ichigo slumps down to take a seat, obviously trembling a little from exhaustion. Before anyone says anything, he takes the piece of Undine's hair out of his pocket, letting it fall to the ground.]

...I...am really goddamned tired.

Chuuya knew Akira was a reaper. When we met last night, he seemed to be out and about for a purpose, but he also seemed surprised to see me. Then he started demanding to know where Akira was and for Akira to show his face.

He also knew Ranpo was one too, when he killed Ranpo.

[Look. All she's getting at is that it's very likely one of Ichigo's reaper buddies has been selling out reapers to Chuuya. She doesn't believe Ichigo did it, but any of the others...]

[well now I have to say this pc is before Setz tells Akira that it was likely Jacopo who outed him to Shin]

Chuuya wanted to win. To end the Game as soon as possible. And I think those close to him may feel the same way.

The moment that comes out, that familiar (to Akira) aura of killing intent flares up, feeling like the temperature around him drops - And Ichigo's eyes narrow, becoming steely and hard.

He has no hesitation as he speaks again.]

Jacopo or Izaya - or maybe both. They'd talked a lot about using Players to take down the other reapers without needing to dirty our own hands. Guess they decided to see if they could take out Akira even when you'd offered peace.

[He thinks for a moment, breathing in and out, before -]

...Well, Jacopo's dead, so we won't have to worry about that. And the rest of my group's considering joining your side, so that we have enough time to figure out what the Composer wants. Because now, they have a reason to want to bring back the Erased.

[He sounds immensely bitter - but he also knows this is how it goes with most people. If there's no personal stake in what they're doing, they'd rather just win instead of working for the greater good.]

It's...unfair, but understandable. Most people aren't moved to action until a danger becomes personal.

But regardless of the reason, if they want to cooperate, that's a good thing.

[A big 'if' there. Hopefully Jacopo was the leak and that won't be a problem anymore.]

[Jacopo or Izaya. of course. Setz had said that Jacopo had hated Akira, for reasons Akira couldn't fathom, considering their lack of interactions. out of anyone from that group. . . Jacopo would make the most sense]

Shin knows about me, too. I'd also place bets on Caren knowing.

[just. throwing that out there, too]

And while that's dangerous, if the rest of your group really does join ours, then we'll at least be able to give the Players of this Game more time.

[and really, that's all Akira wants. not to survive-- although he will try-- but to give the Players more time.]
